Eat healthy during the Holidays !
I know that Thanksgiving is coming soon . That does not mean eat all you can since it is Turkey and there will be many others sides. Portion control is key ! You will pay later when you over indulge . Eat a healthy snack before you go to the party . I know that I have a shakeology before I go and it helps me not to eat to much . And all I know is that it helps me not eat the sweets which I have not craved that now that I am having my shake daily .
You may have to bring a dish so bring a healthy dish . If you bring a dish you like and is healthy you know that you can eat that . Remember that Thanksgiving is about family and making memories and enjoying each other .
Do not want to hurt anyone's feelings by not eating everything you will have to say no or you will add calories to you . Here are some of the words you can say . I am full no thank you , I have had enough thank you very much for offering . It is ok to say no you will be happy with yourself later .
You do not want to go to the party feeling hunger . You will want to eat everything you see because you have not eaten and that is not good . It will add more calories because you will eat more you can not save your calories to eat more that is just more calories that you will add to your body .

You are worth it !! Why ?
Do you feel you are worth a better health ? I know times are tuff and you may not be able to get in my challenges . And you have seen the results I post you know the products work . Why do you think you are not worth it ?I know many have asked me is it free ?
You have to invest in your self to get the results that I and many have made . You have to want to make the change in you . I have the tools you need if you are ready for change . When you invest in you the support you will get will be worth it . all I know at a gym you may not get the support from many that you will get in the group .Can you message the person at 24 hour fitness and tell them what you should eat ? How you are feeling that day ? Can you tell them you need more motivation ? Once you are at the gym say for the hour you are there you leave then that is it .
I know that when I say you have to invest 170.00 for challenge pack people say they can not . You are getting the tools you need that will get you from the health that you want to be at and tell are you worth it ? All I know is that I am worth adding more years to my life . I know for a fact you are worth it !!
Yes the economy is not good we all know that . But when you go out to eat you spend money , get your nails hair done . You can cut back on things if there is a will there is a way . I know I have found many ways to pay for my Shakeology .

Life's Journey's
We always want things to come fast . We expect to loose weight over night when we work out and think we are eating and doing the right thing . When we want something to come fast a party , kids to grow up , business to increase . It does not happen that way . I know that it will come soon and we have to think like that . I guess because of all the electronics and how it is at are finger tips we want to click what we want in life to come now and we want it now .
My weight loss and fitness journey has been 2 years in the making. Yes when I have to work out sometimes I say humm do I want to today ? I find a excuse and then I say you have did it this long you need to do what you know is right and is working for you that is why you are where you are today . I tell people I am no different from you I know anyone can get to where I am in my journey of life . I am no different from you I believe in people .
Hurdles yes I do have them I am not perfect . I look at it this way dust my self off and keep moving . I have to for God my family and me . I will not let it get me down I do not want to to yes at times but like I said keep moving .
I love helping people with there healthy life journey it makes me feel good there is something about it that makes it my passion . Life is a journey and if I can help others with there journeys I am here to help all .

Getting Enough Rest
It is very important for you to get the rest you need . It is good for your health and overall feeling . I know that life can get busy and we find that we so not get enough sleep .
Sleep is important for humans for memory, weight control, mood, stress level and cardiovascular health as well as your overall health. Sleep is also important for your safety because drowsiness caused by a lack of sleep may cause you to make mistakes that can be harmful to yourself and others.Such as when you are driving .
If, after you retire for the night, you find yourself lying in bed for 20 minutes without falling asleep, get up and take part in a relaxing activity outside of your bedroom. Furthermore, your bedroom should be dark and quiet to help you go to sleep. Keeping your bedroom cool and comfortable will also help you get a restful night's sleep.

To do list ?
Do you make a to do list ? Do you find that you get more done when you have a to do list ? I know that I look at my list and know that I need to get what is on my list done for that day . I know that we get busy and we may not be able to get to it that is ok . You can add it to the next day for you to do then . Keeping track of what needs to get done is a great way to keep track of what you will get done and have to do . We get busy and we will forget to do it then we put it off and never get it done . There is a lot of great apps on your phone that can help you . I have a whiteboard that really helps to . Many people are using them to track long-term goals, evaluate their lives. New research shows that writing lists does the mind and body good in many ways, from making you happier to increasing your workout frequency .When people start making to do lists, and organize all the activities that need to be done, they are more likely to procrastinate.
It is great when you have your work out at a time everyday and do it at that time . It is like a Dr appointment you will not cancel and keep on track .

Back To School snacks!
Well school is back in session . We have to back healthy snacks and food for our kids . I really think that fruit is great . Apples , oranges , bananas , grapes and many more . Anything that is fresh is best . You can pack veggies cut up that is great to . You can put a cold pack with it so that it will stay cold . Prepare the snacks for the week cut up every thing that needs to be cut up then it will be ready for the week .

What is a Fit Club ? It is when you have free work out for all . We do beach body work outs for free . This lets people try the work outs and see if they like them . So when they decide to purchase that work out they will know how it is . And the work outs are always free . We enjoy helping people get there work out in for free . What do you think about using weights ? I have been doing Les Mills Pump I am really happy with results . Weights do not bulk you up it burns fat . It helps when you are doing things around the house . I know that since I am building muscle I can do things that I was not able to . I can lift things that may seem heavy to others are getting easy for me . My arm is getting stronger . I also am also adding cardio into my work outs . I do like cardio it is really my thing to mix it up is what I like to do . What do you like cardio or resistance training ? I can help you along you way .

What do you think about negative people ? Do you feel that when you are hanging out with them they bring you down ? There is to many people in the world that are not happy and I think they should just be happy to be alive . You make your life what you want it to be ! I have found that I am now surrounding my self with positive people I have a better day and it makes my life so much better . There are so many people that can bring you down why let them . No Not This Ever !!
I saw this from almost 2 years ago .
I told my self I will not fit in that again . I was not happy when I wore that I knew that being healthy was a better way of life . I wanted to cover up not that I show off my bathing suit I have now . It was just about taking pic above the waist not below . And do not take pics in a 2 piece where you could see my belly uggg lol . I have so much energy to want to play with my kids on the beach the pool I feel great ! I see life and it is passing us by and when there is no energy for my kids that is not a good thing . When I have grandkids I do not want to say oh no they are coming to visit I can not play with them I am tired . That word tired is not what I like to say and will not say . I have 2 legs that work and I want to use them as much as I can and will . Life will pass us by like mist in the air so do not let it pass you by . Do not skip a meal ! You can not loose weight that way .
How Your Body Reacts to skipping meals!
Your body goes into fasting mode during this carbohydrates,proteins ,and fats are all used to have energy .Skipping meals and restricting calories will create cravings. Rapid high blood sugar occurs when you give into these cravings. As a result, your body creates a high amount of triglycerides, which convert to fat-storage. In addition, the depleted glycogen causes low energy levels because blood sugar is not being replaced. Unfortunately, the weight that is lost is mostly water (glycogen is made up of mostly water) and muscle .The slowed metabolism will also have a tough time digesting your food, if you cram in all your meals at one time. This is also commonly seen in people who skip meals. They get so hungry they eat more then one meals worth at one sitting. The already slowed metabolism is going to take a lot longer to work the over sized meal throughout your body. Once again, resulting in weight gain.

What makes me love what I do
So today on my facebook page a get a post from Stacy . You make think people do not read what you post they do some people may be lurking your page and you may not know it . I know Stacy reads my post and enjoys them . This is what she posted wow this really made my day . Helping others by being accountable to myself .
7 months later I went from size 5-6 down to 0-1 and lost 5lbs. So now I weigh 125. I noticed that
the more I exercise, that I put on weight and that is totally fine with me, it's the muscle weight.
Also, saying NO to the sugar. I am digesting food much better now. Thank you Lissa!

I get many messages daily about how I helped people when I post . It really makes me feel great you effect others and not knowing it you do . You can do anything you set your mind to . Stacy I am really proud of you for all you have done . I know to you help me when you get out there and tell me you are doing your work out or going for a walk . I know that I have to get it done to .
My challenge group has really helped to they all keep each other going and we encourage each other . I know I have helped so many people start working out eating right and if I can change lives one at a time I know that is why I am here .

Easy Baked Pita Chips
These baked pita chips are a great, healthy alternative to store-bought chips to serve with spinach dip, hummus, or just about any other dip.
Ingredients
- 4 fresh pita (10-12" in diameter)
- 2 Tbs extra-virgin olive oil
- salt and pepper
Directions
Heat an oven to 450°F. Using a pizza cutter, slice the pitas into 8-12 triangular wedges. Tear the two halves of each wedge apart.
Working in batches toss 25-30 wedges at a time with 1/2 Tbs olive oil and a few grinds of salt and pepper in a large bowl. Arrange the wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes, then flip the chips and bake for an additional 2 minutes until golden brown.

- 1 scoop Greenberry Shakeology
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 banana

Carrot Cake:

What keeps me busy well my son is deployed .
I am keeping busy now more so than ever . I have to my son is deployed and I need to keep my minds busy . I have been I do have 3 other boys that do keep me busy that is great . I work out and helping others keeps me busy . Summer is coming so I know that Brandon will want to hang out at the beach and the park . Being a Army mom you have to be strong in some ways . I do get to chat with my son on skype that is a god send . I am so glad for computers I would really go crazy if we did not have any . I have so many mom's that are they to talk with and that is great .
